SAP&DC operates programs designed to help clients obtain and maintain employment so they no longer depend on the welfare system.

EARN is a comprehensive program of services designed to eliminate barriers and provide employment for program participants.

Services include assessment, skill training, basic education, career exploration, life skills, motivational activities, work experience, subsidized employment, job development, job search and retention assistance, and intensive case management.  Support services include funding for transportation, clothing and health care needs.

Participants must be referred by the local County Assistance Office.
