Tina Taylor Promoted to Director of Business Lending at Southern Alleghenies Planning & Development Commission
ALTOONA, Pa. – Tina Taylor, a seasoned professional with over 28 years of experience in international trade and business development, has been promoted to Director of Business Lending at the Southern Alleghenies Planning & Development Commission (SAP&DC), effective January 2025.
Tina joined SAP&DC, a not for profit economic and community development organization, 25 years ago, where she initially managed the State of Pennsylvania Export Trade Program. In this role, she provided invaluable support to businesses looking to expand into global markets. Prior to her time at SAP&DC, Tina gained extensive experience in the private sector, further honing her expertise in business finance and trade.
In October 2021, Tina transitioned to the position of Business Lending Program Manager at SAP&DC. Over the past few years, she has played a pivotal role in administering the Commission’s loan programs, which include conducting pre-application interviews, negotiating collateral with private lenders, identifying alternative funding sources, and preparing comprehensive loan applications for the Loan Review Committee. Her work involves detailed credit analysis, financial statement review, and business plan assessments. Tina also assists with loan closings and ensures compliance in post-closing procedures. She is the Commission’s certified 7B designee under the Pennsylvania Industrial Development Authority (PIDA) program.
