Business Investment: Direct investments in promising technology-oriented companies throughout the Commonwealth to fund critical commercialization activities and growth needs. Also invests in select seed and early-stage PA venture funds, provides support for angel investor groups, sponsors business plan competitions and is involved with initiatives designed to give new entrepreneurs the capital-raising tools to attract funding.
Business Lending: Stimulates business expansions leading to the creation and retention of regional jobs by providing low-interest financing. Staff works with eligible businesses to package loans to support projects utilizing all public funding sources working with commercial lenders.
