The APEX Accelerators (formerly referred to as the PTAC, Procurement Technical Assistance Centers) of PA help area businesses market their products and services to local, state and federal governments anywhere in the US or abroad. Thirteen APEX Accelerators in Pennsylvania provide assistance to companies located in their specifically designated geographic regions.
Congress created the Procurement Technical Assistance Program (PTAP) to help businesses seeking to compete successfully in federal, state and local government contracting. The programs are funded through Cooperative Agreements between Department of Defense, Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) and state/local entities.
