Responding to a Request for Proposal (RFP) or an Invitation for Bid (IFB) to a government agency can be an intimidating task. The Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC) works with businesses to ensure that they fully understand all aspects of each solicitation and advises clients how to properly submit a competitive response.
The PTAC will provide contract abstracts when available so that the responding business is able to construct a competitive yet profitable pricing structure. The PTAC will interpret all applicable contract clauses, regulations and job requirements so that the responding business has a clear understanding of their responsibilities as well as their liabilities. When there are manufacturing or inspection related specifications or drawings required the PTAC can furnish those typically at no cost. Finally the PTAC will provide a final review of the firm’s proposal pre-submission to ensure that it contains all required information and is presented following the prescribed format.
